Fiendishly difficult! Adorably cute! Utterly engrossing!
How much gold can you get before your entire team is destroyed? ITS NEVER ENOUGH!

Play The Nightmare Cooperative now - its a strategic adventure where you lead a group of unlikely comrades through some rather difficult situations. Your village has fallen on hard times (due to reckless spending by the Village Council) and it’s up to you to bring back some gold.

The Nightmare Cooperative is a puzzley roguelike. You control a group of characters, each with different special abilities. The trick? They all move together, as a group. Something of a cooperative, if you catch the drift.

Every playthrough will be different, and youll always have to start at the beginning, no matter how well (or badly) you did before. Your score is the amount of gold that you pickup during your journey. Opening crates gives you extra gold, but releases more monsters.

Check the Game Center leaderboards to see how well youve done!

Pros and cons of The Nightmare Cooperative app for iPhone and iPad

The Nightmare Cooperative app good for

Great game, feels like a roguelike triple town, really hard at first but very intersting when you start to grasp all the mecanics...nice art style too, the music fits well with the mood. If only all ios/touch games were this good :)
Really clever game. Its a really nice blend between 868-hack and Threes. Works really well. Chanllenging. Keep up the good work!
I absolutely love this puzzle game! It would be nice if the buttons were a higher resolution, it would look way better!
Beat the game in 30min, good thing the levels are new everytime you play the game or I would be bored. Will now be competing for highscores. you need to think of this game as a puzzle game; not a combat game where you Leeroy Jenkins into monsters. Beautiful artwork, calming music, worth more then 1.19CAD. I found the difficulty level to be, Medium.

Some bad moments

This seems like a great idea on paper, but is not done well. The graphics are cool, the gameplay is unique, but thats as far as it goes. There is no depth to the characters, and its brutally hard to move with these unresponsive controls. Then the game crashed. So cant recommend.
Im usually not into turn-based games, but this one is pretty unique. Its very fun and has a nice charm to it, especially with the amazing art style and music. The gameplay is challenging at first, but gets easier the more you play. It lets you slowly figure out how things work and you learn while you play it.
Enjoyed this game on Steam and very glad to have the iOS version.
Could be fun but the controls are a pain- Im constantly pausing the game, I think the map should be further down and move the character info to the top. Also, when you click on a character to see a description- it doesnt seem to work consistently.
Clever gameplay. Excellent music and art style. Plays just as great as the PC version.
Everything about the idea of the game is great except that when you die, you have to start from the very beginning. I wish it saved your progress. I dont know what to do with the gold I have collected. I also wish that the little speech bubbles that tell you what everything is would go away after the first few levels.
